There has always been a rumour over here that the Ammies have no idea of geography.
But the international country codes are something else.

CH = Confederation Helvetica = Switzerland
D logically means Germany (Deutschland)
NL = Holland (alles klar?)
The others are pretty boring eg. GB for the UK etc
